About RIHR

Resource Institute For Human Rights (RIHR) is not an academic institution, but research forms the bedrock of our advocacy work, because good and strategic advocacy needs evidence that is empirical, authentic and credible. Indeed, research should lay the foundation for holistic knowledge on which true action should be based. RIHR in collaboration with Rajasthan Bal Adhikar Sanganrakshan Sajha Abhiyaan (RBASSA) has done many remarkable efforts to strengthen the child protection system.

RIHR’s research and documentation efforts are directly linked to its aim of building a holistic understanding of Child Rights and exploring areas of concern that affect children and their rights. In this endeavour RIHR attempts to fill the gaps in existing information, collating such information, and creating a data and information base for advocacy, training and capacity building of various stakeholders and public education.

Our Vision & Mission

The vision of the institute is to be a vibrant forum for action oriented research that guide and support in the common citizens, civil society and political administration in order to establish human rights.

The mission of the RIHR is “to emerge as an institute with international parameters offering range of opportunities to the common citizens and meet their demands in context of human rights and development”. RIHR aims at bridging the information gap between the common citizens and policy makers through main stream media and alternative print media.
